Abstract Geometric Art

Danielle Paris has developed her own unique approach to geometric abstract design and art.  She draws inspiration for her paintings from a wide variety of sources including, but not limited to, nature, fashion, history, spirituality, politics, popular entertainment, and life experience.  Danielle paints primarily using acrylic professional grade paints and stretched canvases ranging in size from 14″ x 11″ to 48″ x 36″.

Artist Statement

I specialize in a unique style of geometric abstract painting where I take the dots and dashes of Morse Code and arrange them into an aesthetic design with an underlying theme or message.  The inspiration for the theme of each painting is drawn from pop culture, current events, and/or personal history.  I translate one or two words from a selected theme into Morse Code dots and dashes, which on a larger scale become circles and rectangles.  I then create an aesthetic design utilizing these shapes, staying true to the order of Morse Code so that the code within the painting can be deciphered.

Danielle paints out of her home studio located in Los Angeles, CA.
